TRANSFORMING LIVES IN TEXAS
BRIDGING THE RURAL HEALTHCARE GAP
Medical Bridges is proud to support the installation of fully equipped Texas Aggie Medical Clinics (TAMCs) in underserved areas of Texas — most recently in Jeff Davis County, where nearly a quarter of residents are uninsured and access to healthcare is scarce. Now designated as a Health Resource Shortage Area, the county had less than 0.02 full-time primary care providers — until now. Thanks to the completed installation of a BUILD Clinic, essential medical services are finally within reach for this rural community.
This milestone builds on the success of other TAMC projects, such as the clinic in Sarita, Texas. Before its arrival, Kenedy County had no medical facilities at all. Today, for the first time, residents have access to care close to home — a powerful testament to what’s possible through collaboration, service, and innovation.
In partnership with Texas A&M’s BUILD program — a student-led initiative honoring the 12 Aggies lost in the 1999 Bonfire collapse — along with the Texas A&M College of Medicine’s Rural Medicine Outreach, the Texas A&M Telehealth Institute, and many generous partners, these clinics represent more than access to care. They symbolize hope, resilience, and a healthier future for rural Texas.

MEET OSCAR
Oscar outgrew his wheelchair—but that didn’t stop him.
Thanks to Medical Bridges, he received a new, properly fitted wheelchair to help him keep moving forward and thriving.
Medical Bridges supports individuals in our local community who lack access to essential medical equipment such as wheelchairs, canes, walkers, exam tables, and more.
If you're part of a patient’s care team and in need of medical equipment donations, we encourage you to reach out to us.

MAKING HEALTH ACCESSIBILITY POSSIBLE
"We just received our third shipment of PPE from Medical Bridges. When a supply of PPE arrives at Julia’s Center, a message immediately goes out to the clinics in the Collin County Coalition of Charitable Clinics, and the supplies are distributed among those clinics who need them which enables them to safely care of their patients and staff. Therefore, each time you send a package, you aren’t just helping the patients and staff at Julia’s Center, you are helping hundreds more.
I wanted to let you know how much we appreciate what you and Medical Bridges are doing for us and the Charity clinics in our area. Without the support of organizations like Medical Bridges and representatives like you who promptly and adequately respond to our needs, we would not be able to keep our volunteers and staff safe or proceed with our mission.
Once again, please accept our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for all you have done and continue to do. You are literally saving lives; God bless you and your organization."
