There’s much to be said.
From Donors:
"Being involved in the Medical Bridges program lends a deeper sense of meaning to our work here – we’re able to care for patients at home while contributing live-saving supplies to patients all across the world.
"To be able to apply this kind of simple solution to such a massive global problem is truly ingenious, both environmentally and ethically. By partnering with Medical Bridges, we are able to recycle unneeded supplies while helping people the world over to gain access to better healthcare, and in effect, to lead healthier lives."

From a Financial Contributor:
"It’s mind-boggling and heart-breaking to imagine a medical clinic in which a bar of soap or a box of band-aids is a precious commodity. Here in the US, where we have so much, it’s so easy to take things for granted. The six bucks I spent at Starbucks each day began to look pretty lavish when compared to what that money could accomplish through a program like Medical Bridges – so I cut back on coffee and started contributing to a cause that really matters."

From a Volunteer:
"When you think about huge global issues, like hunger or disease, it’s easy to think ‘well, I’m just one person - what could I do up against such a widespread problem?’ Sorting and packing containers for Medical Bridges is what I do – every single item that I pack and send makes a real difference in someone’s life."

From Recipients:
I am a 24-year old woman living in Vietnam. I had polio and scoliosis when I was just nine months old. I couldn’t move anywhere by myself without my mother or father. Fortunately, I have just received a wheelchair from the Medical Bridges project in Houston, TX and the Binh Duong Hospital in Vietnam. From now on, my moving will be easier with the wheelchair. I write this to say thank you very much, and I hope Medical Bridges will continue to help those who are in need, not just in Vietnam but also everywhere around the world. Once again, thank you.

"We have just successfully finished a three-day medical mission in Bongoa, Tawi-Tawi, Philippines. Thanks to all the supplies and medications you sent, more than 1,000 patients benefited from them. This includes 42 surgeries, 230 dental procedures, 85 circumcisions, and more than 700 medical consults. The mission is still continuing on a smaller scale, and this is possible because of medications we left to the local doctors and surgeons. I sincerely thank you and the staff of Medical Bridges for all your support."
